Protégé FAQ’s
Q: Why should my child attend Protégé?
A: Protégé staff is dedicated, experienced and passionate about providing a valuable training program that contributes to the success of each child not only as a basketball player, but as a person and student athlete.
Q: What will my child take away from this experience?
A: He/She will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball as well the capability to develop their own skills thus making them a key player in the sport, which will also build self-confidence which is a necessity both on and off the court.
Q: What age range do you work with?
A: We predominantly work with 1st-12th grade students however we do offer specialized programs for younger children and adults interested in playing basketball on the collegiate or professional level.
Q: Do you provide training for boys and girls?
A: Yes, we offer co-ed training events as well as gender specific training sessions.
Q: What’s the main difference between individual & group sessions?
A: Individual sessions really allow us to be more detail oriented and for you to work at your own skill level as opposed to trying to keep up with others in a group.
Q: Is it necessary to sign up for so many sessions?
A: It is recommended but not required. The more sessions you attend, the more you get to practice each skill level, master it &
move forward. It also conditions the body to perform at certain levels.
Q: What do we need to bring to the training session?
A: Come dressed in proper basketball shoes & attire. Bring a determined attitude and a willingness to learn. You may also want to bring a bottled water/Gatorade.
Q: Can training sessions be rolled over?
A: No, training sessions can’t be rolled over, saved, etc.
Q: Is there a refund policy?
A: We require all funds in advance before training can begin, unless you are on an agreed payment plan. If you are on a monthly agreement for team sports, payments are due on the30th/31st of each month and considered late thereafter.
Q: What if I register late?
A: The session will be prorated for the remaining sessions of that month.
